Lovely small tree with bright red flowers that attract all sorts of pollinators. Very hardy once established, not fussy about soil or watering, heat or frost. Excellent for creating shade, screening, hedging, erosion control and cut flowers. A sweet fermented drink can be made by steeping the flowers in water.
